Privacy Policy

What stays on your Mac
Notch Crew reads the local session files and processes of the coding agents you run (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Ollama) to show their status. Your conversations, code, file paths and tool arguments stay on your Mac. We never receive them.
What the app sends
- Update checks. About once a day the app downloads https://notchcrew.com/appcast.xml. Like any web request this shows our host your IP address. The app sends no system profile. You can turn automatic checks off in Settings.
- iCloud ID. The app asks iCloud for an ID that belongs to this app and is the same on all your Macs, so your purchase follows you. It reads nothing else from your iCloud account.
- Purchase check. The app asks RevenueCat whether you have bought or are trying Notch Crew. It sends an anonymous ID (made by iCloud for this app, or random if you are not signed in to iCloud), the app and macOS versions and your region. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Payments
Paddle.com is the merchant of record: it takes your payment, handles tax and sends your receipt. See Paddle's privacy policy. We receive the order details (email, country, amount) so we can help you.
